POGs. Psychedelia. Evangelical messaging.
Three worlds that, on the surface, had nothing in common. The collection was driven by a fascination with the tension between them, and the unexpected harmony that emerged when they collided.
Original POGs were scanned and transformed into repeating silk prints, while psychedelic op art came alive across fluid tops and dresses. Blacklight paintings of Jesus and the Devil became bold graphic statements, and richly layered suede embroideries introduced an unexpected sense of permanence to imagery more commonly associated with disposable pop culture. Throughout the collection, premium materials and meticulous construction elevated familiar cultural references into objects of lasting quality.
